Saying Goodbye to Summer

It’s hard to believe, but the last week of summer is already here. Our first Spring/summer has been filled with so many wonderful memories, and we’re feeling grateful for all the time we’ve been able to share with friends, family, and visitors who joined us over the past few months.

Our days were full—swimming in the lake, climbing Blueberry Hill, and wandering through the farmers’ market at the Legion. The house has been busy with guests, laughter, and card games that stretched late into the evening. Each visit added something special, and together they made this summer feel rich and memorable.

Now, as the air grows cooler and the evenings arrive a little earlier, we can feel autumn just around the corner. While we’ll miss the warmth of summer, the quiet mornings by the water, and the buzz of gatherings, we also welcome the slower pace that fall brings.

Thank you to everyone who made this season so meaningful. We’ll carry these memories with us as we step into autumn—and start dreaming about next summer all over again.
